St Mary's church will be open 10am-2pm on the first Saturday of the month during the warmer months, coffee available in the church hall until 12noon. If you can help please let the vicar or wardens know. Thank you
Holiday Hunger starts again on Monday 24th July, and runs until September 1st. We meet at 11am at St John’s Church for about an hour. Please sign the list at the back if you are able to help. Thank you.
The next meeting of 'Time well spent' will start on Friday 15th September Coffee and chat from 11am, a cooked lunch and a talk in the afternoon with tea and cake. If you wish to come in September please complete and return a form. Thank you.
Saturday 2nd September is St Mary’s Church Open Day. There will be teddies zip wiring from the tower and picnicking in the grounds, games for the children and the church registers on display. All are welcome! We will need help with sandwiches and cake in the afternoon, as well as tea and coffee makers all day. Please come and support the day with your teddy.
September 12th is the recording date for BBC Wales, the hymns will be recorded in the evening form 6pm and you are all welcome to swell the number of singers.
If you shop in Tesco during July and August please ask for the tokens and put them in the ‘Holiday Hunger’ box. We have the chance of a grant for the project from Tesco, and the more support we have the more likely we are to get some money towards buying food during the holidays.
