St Mary's church will be open 10am-2pm on the first Saturday of the month during the warmer months, coffee available in the church hall until 12noon. If you can help please let the vicar or wardens know. Thank you
Thursday 29th June in St Mary’s Church, 7-9pm the Archdeacon will be with us to check all registers.
The Bishop's Visitation will be on Sunday 16th July at 3.30pm at St Mary's Ruabon. The bishop will talk, there will be tea and the afternoon will finish with a Eucharist. Wardens will be expected to go, and all others are welcome. Offers to help with tea will be welcomed! Thank you
The next meeting of 'Time well spent' will start on Friday 21st July. Coffee and chat from 11am, a cooked lunch and a talk in the afternoon with tea and cake. If you wish to come in July please complete and return a form. Thank you
Shea Ferron is organising and singing in a concert at Penylan in aid of charity (East Africa Appeal) on 21st July, at 7pm. Please come and support a talented member of our church.
The 29th July is a fifth Sunday, and All Saints, St John’s and St Mary’s will be joining together to celebrate 180 years of St John’s Church at 11am. We hope to organise a lunch out, please let Beulah know if you would like to come to the lunch.
If you shop in Tesco during July and August please look out for the green tokens and put them in the ‘Holiday Hunger’ box. We have the chance of a grant for the project from Tesco, and the more support we have the more likely we are to get some money towards buying food during the holidays.
